大寶法王skype錄音檔聲紋鑑定99％吻合為噶瑪巴本人 The Male Voice in the Skype Recordings Is Verified 99% Matching to the Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje’s Voice by the MuScene Forensics Laboratory

為求謹慎起見，鏡週刊主管將此錄音檔送往美商瓦器聲紋鑑識實驗室做聲紋比對，該實驗室是台灣唯一民間聲紋鑑定，在聲音的分析與處理有權威地位，其鑑定報告更是具有法律公信力，鏡週刊則提供大寶法王的演講片段與小珍的錄音檔做比對。

For prudence, the president and deputy editor of Mirror Media submitted the Skype recordings to the MuScene Forensics Laboratory in Taipei to do a forensic verification. The MuScene Forensics Laboratory is the only non-governmental laboratory in Taiwan with the authority and credibility to the conduct sound analysis and verification. Its identification report has the credibility in law officially. Mirror Media provided the lab the 17th Karmapa’s public talks and teachings as model materials to identify and verify the unknown male speaker in the Skype recordings that Jane submitted.

該實驗室先是以聆聽法確認二者的口音、發聲習慣、共鳴點相同，而經過軟體檢視，更發現二者檔案在「自己」、「就是」、「台灣」等常用詞，語氣雖略有差異，但比對樣本的基頻和共振鋒型態皆吻合，語言特徵更是相同，有百分之九十九點九的把握能確認是同人！
First of all, the MuScene Forensics Laboratory confirmed that “The audio contents were continuous recording of a two-party conversation involving a female voice in the near field, and a male voice propagated through an electronic channel. This preliminary material examination found no apparent signs for potential tampering.” Secondly, it checked aurally and visually the recordings, and then speaker fundamental frequencies, text-dependent formant transition features, prosody, vocabulary, articulatory and phonation characteristics; also “other sociopsycological characteristics that can be associated with the known speaker are also noted and taken into consideration in determining the identity between the unknown and known speakers.” The base frequency and the resonant front type of the comparison sample are consistent, and the language features are the same as well. Therefore, the male voice in the recordings on Skype was verified and confirmed that it is 99% the 17th Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje’s voice.
