西藏上師手段實踐的兩大基礎:覺知(Perception)和敘事(Narrative)The Two Main Bases of the Practice of the Tibetan Gurus' Manipulation: Perception and Narrative
在這個西藏喇嘛「統治」的中心思想之下,想要發展事業並鞏固本身頭銜,到底要如何能完成這樣的統治大業呢?在此我要談到兩大心理學上的基礎:覺知(Perception)和敘事(Narrative)。這是一種統治技巧,也是一種操控心術。基本上就是掌握住「淨觀」(pure perception)的話語權,創造出覺知的騙局。只要是高階的喇嘛,尤其是所謂傳承多代的繼承者,大多都熟習這些人治技巧,因為這就是一種統治術、一種管理術。這些所謂西藏傳承持有者,能從封建時代存活到現代,除了所謂金剛乘的「無上秘密」(說穿了就是跟「性」有關的解碼),他們代代相傳給自己的繼承者,最重要的是,如何掌握「控制人」的一門能力。
How on earth does a Tibetan lama develop his activities, solidify the title and accomplish his great career under the central idea of “ruling”? Here I am going to talk about two bases derived from psychology: “Perception” and “Narrative”. Both are not only skills of ruling but also trickery of manipulation. Basically, the essence of the skills is that the lama has to grasp the discourse of “pure perception” to create the con of perception in the first place. As long as he is a high level lama, especially the one who needs to uphold the lineage generation after generation, he must learn to master this ruling skills on human. It is actually a monarchy trickery and perception management technique for these Tibetan sect leaders. It is their exclusive “legacy” to pass on to their successors and the key to survive from feudal era till modern society today. Or, let's put it this way: In additional to the supreme secrets (unsurpassable Yog aka Annu yoga,Ati yoga), blatantly meaning decoding of sexuality and practice of sexual intercourse, the most important thing that the Tibetan lama deliver to their heir is the ability to control human beings' emotions.
喇嘛的政治經濟學除了和當權者交媾輸誠、豢養幾名主要大功德主外,當落實到實際的個人對個人面對面互動上,西藏上師是怎麼做呢?「一切都跟操弄情緒有關,就看你懂不懂。」這句話是宗薩欽哲在2017年底在德里的vana 基金會對一群印度菁英的演說中,他說出了自己最得意的統治術心要。宗薩為了巧妙地障眼他這種統御術,還寫了一本似是而非的書「上師也喝酒」。此書一如他每每的演講教學,看似雋永引人入勝,但每當談到了關鍵之處,他就模糊帶過,虛無一番或假託秘密,不再深究。(這書似乎有些微爆料,但很多他自己私人的真相卻是隻字不提,我將會幫他一一補充真正的壇城眾生相實況!)
To master the political economy of lama politics, other than intercourse with the established power, rearing major patrons at the public level, what tricks does the Tibetan lamas actually play when they interact at personal level? Dzongsar Khyentse gave an explicit answer when he gave teachings to a bunch of Indian elites at the Vana Foundation in Delhi in November 2017. “Everything is related to manipulate the emotions, but it depends if you understand how to do it or not.” He accidentally revealed his favorite skill of ruling to those so-called smart rich people there. To camouflage his ruling secrets, defending for its insidious practice, he writes a plausible book called Guru Drinks Bourbon in which keeps his same old tone that sounded seemingly smart and fun but actually episodic and confusing . His lectures are like this: when he touches the key logic and solutions, he would skip them and leave blank to make the audience think, "oh it must be the (tantric) secret", but in fact, he doesn’t really know how to conclude in terms of rationale it and he will never tell the execution part that how he manipulate people, basically those tricks he performs in his shamanistic Bon sect pujas to achieve his certain goals. (There are some gossip about his students as examples for him to listed in this book yet he keeps silence about his own scandals. I will supplement their realities later in other posts.)
這些在所謂高階仁波切或法王等級的喇嘛中,要將功德主與女人玩弄於股掌之間,還令得她們供養得心甘情願,非精通這些控制淫技不可。如果像羅卓仁謙那種屁孩鬥雞之流,在藏傳佛學院的經歷,最多只學到佛學院中的霸凌文化,卻妄想著把西藏落伍的佛學院大部頭包裝成網紅節目,藉著攀巴大寶法王名號,就以為可以佔有佛教名人的一席之地。事實上此人永遠也不可能成為高居法座受人膜拜,廣納供養的「仁波切」,充其量只不過是一個心中著急又暗裡妒羨民俗算命師,但卻比這些通靈者還不如的江湖郎中罷了。
For those high ripnoches or his holinesses, if they want to wrap patrons and women around their fingers and make them so willingly offer whatever he demands, they must be adept at the insidious skills to control his followers. As low level a character as Lodro Rinchen is, the Karmapa’s representative in Taiwan, the muscleman of the Karmapa, he learns nothing about it but only the violent bully culture from Tibetan Buddhist institute. He can only wishes to decorate the dull and arcane Buddhist theories (sutras and shastras) as merchandise for people to purchase by the brand of "the His Holiness 17th Karmapa" on YouTube channels and his websites. He planned to become some rinpoche or celebrity one day but he can only become a charlatan that is even inferior to a psychic in the folk religion.
一個喇嘛,要能像噶瑪巴連基礎教育都沒有真正完整接受過,還被當作是學霸、先知,甚至是蓮師觀世音化身,首先必須先有個「噶舉傳承」的法王頭銜,否則再多花樣,學了再多藏經,吊了多少書袋,沒信徒真會當一回事。所以君不見那麼多的活佛騙子,死也要弄一張某某傳承轉世的證明,還要精通藏文幹起翻譯事業,就是要先打造出這種「認知騙局」的地基!比如,宗薩欽哲是文殊菩薩化身,赤松德贊王轉世、噶瑪巴是觀世音菩薩化身、獅子吼第六佛啥的,還有所修持的數不清的本尊化現,簡直比漫威世界中的角色大亂鬥還厲害。
A lama like the 17th Karmapa, without any primary education but still be taken as a learned scholar and a noble prophet or even the emanation of Padmasambhava or Avalokitesvara, first he has to enthrone with an official title of “His Holiness” from certain lineage, such as the Karma Kagyu lineage. Otherwise, no matter how long or how much a regular lama study and practice the Tibetan Buddhist theories, no devotees would take him serious because he is not equipped with the "miraculous ability" that is believed to garner even reincarnated. That’s why there are so many charlatans naming themselves rinpoches or producing a certificate of reincarnation of some famous legends figure. All in all, a lama needs to build the base of the con, which is setting a shining title and beautiful story since the first day they were born. For example, Dzongsar Khyentse is the emanation of Manjusri, reincarnation of King Trisong Detsen; the Karmapa is the emanation of Avalokitesvara or Sixth Buddha Lion Roar, something like that. Each of them is the most promising figure representing their lineages. In addition, they would practice all kinds different deities as their "true identities", which they would manifest it when they need it under some important circumstances. All these narratives are even more fierce and cooler than the mass fight in the Avengers of Marvel Cinematic Universe, aren't they?
但是事實的真相是,這些上師私底下的樣貌,情緒之大、脾氣暴躁,夜不成眠、過動憂鬱的狀況,比比皆是。比如噶瑪巴,就曾在菩提迦耶某次上課前,用電話視訊打給我,要求網路性愛,因為他說,「不想去講課。」把女人和性愛當作大麻般的安慰劑。而宗薩拍攝完Hema Hema在台北剪接時,因為影片拍攝結果太差,他看完毛片,在姚姓功德主提供的陽明山私密小別墅裡發火,對著在場的女生(共三人)亂發脾氣:「都是你們這些業餘的人毀了我的電影!」當時我只覺得好笑,這樣偉大的上師,水準竟比一個二流的廣告導演還不如。
However, their reality is this: in private, many lamas are so emotional and so grumpy, suffering from insomnia and depression just as Dzongsar Khyenste does. Yet the Karmapa is the worst. He used to call me to ask for cybersex before his teaching at Tergar Monastery in Bodhgaya, because he told me, “I don’t want to give teachings.” He took women and sex as tranquilizer or marijuana to vent his frustration and stress. He is indulgent in sex and preying women in private when he doesn't show up in front of the public. The Karmapa really suffers mental and psychogical issue in terms of being detained when he was a teenager.
Another ridiculous scenario of Dzongsar Khyentse was when he finished his crap movie Hema Hema, editing it in Taipei, he was too depressed because the footage sucked and he got so frustrated and mad. He lost it and yelled at me when I was 20 min earlier than the time he designated arriving in the post-production studio, which was not a problem at all, but he vented his anger on me-- just because I was early-- not being late. This is Dzongsar Khyentse's true face unseen. Unbelievable childish, reminding me of some toddlers' meltdown. I was confused at that time, thinking I did something wrong but I really couldn't figure what's wrong with arrive early. Maybe it's a secret code of being on exact time he wanted? I supplemented all kinds of reasons but not knowing he was just a grumpy old man only. Later I realized he was just too upset with the first-cut--it was lame --after I brought food for them and the sound editor said good words about the movie, he finally calmed down a bit. Later back in his place, watching the first cut again, he threw his temper on three women in the room, including me, at the small villa that the patron Yao offered him in Yang Ming Mount. He lied on the bed and yelled at Stepahine Lai and me, “you amateurs ruined my movie!" when I tried to advice him re-shoot some scenes that didn't look good. Yet he kept losing it checking with his Macbook, complaining like a spoiled teen. I was surprised and rolled my eyes, thinking, turns out such a great guru couldn't handle his emotion when he saw his crappy quality of work and acted even more childish and immature than a rookie or a mediocre commercial directors in the industry. Where is the meditation skill and the renunciation attitude? Or was he empowered by some negative emotions with some secret tantric technique that we don't know? No, in fact, nothing, it's just as he said to me: Nothing about enlightenment. It is what it is.
至於噶瑪巴粗糙的手法,最常見的就是將晉見玩成過境登機安檢,把晉見搞成像見英國女王陛下一樣,在自己的總統套房裡大演生病、軟禁、行程取消之類的拙劣遊戲。前提是,只要你進入了這樣的「上師為佛」的催眠敘事中,所有的一切對他們來講都太好辦了,事半功倍。因此為了確定弟子能否為此統治階級所用,上師會先經過一連串的神化、拉鋸,給糖、冷落、進兩步退三步一再測試直至你完全忠誠地成為囊中物。之後你就成為他的政治版圖中催眠網的一員,甚至瘋狂的敢死親衛隊。
As for the Karmapa’s crude tricks, the most common one is to play the private audience as if going through the custom at the airport and boarding the plane, to play it as if one is having audience with Her Majesty in British. However, when the audience is arranged, the game is just about to begin. He often pretends he is ill or house arrest by the Indian government and forced to cancel his schedules or appointments to manipulate the devotees' expectation. Actually he acted quite roughly and heavy-handed. However, if one enters the narrative of “guru is the Buddha "or "the Karmapa is the Padmasabhava", being mesmerized that the Karmapa is a 900-year-old emperor, it would be easy and breezy for them to play the game again and again. Everything is effortless for them if the student takes the guru business seriously. So, for the guru. he must make sure that one is viewed him as a god and then test him/her to confirm that can be used at his will. That is, the guru would deify himself first and then weigh on, test, favor, freeze, and emotional blackmail, turn down, all kinds of means, until one becomes his blindly loyalty devotee or even crazy guard (For Chinese, they are perfect Red Guards in Vajrayana in modern days) easily to be ordered to do everything and anything. Some of these devotees will be viewed as member of the inner circle of the guru and the assistant to the net of his ruling domain, becoming the helpers of the con.某些痴人作夢的弟子想要攀附他們利用他們的名聲,學他們成名,但無論是宗薩或噶瑪巴,都不會允許在他之下,可以有一個自立門戶,自創事業的喇嘛。如果是聽命於他辦事、辦法會的喇嘛,就只能聽令行事,乖乖做一個家奴,不管是不丹/西藏堪布還是中文的課程講師,只要膽敢僭越上師,馬上就用各種方式把人冷凍起來(故事不勝枚舉);更不要說想假借名號成名,甚至自己為幫上師出頭搞網路霸凌,這種人最後都只不過淪為這個小圈圈之中的邊緣人而已。在這個封建小宇宙中,人治的帝王規則絕不會改變。
Some naive or stupid disciples such as Tibetan kenpos (professors) and foreign instructors would like to use the gurus’ name to build their own career, wishing to become as famous as their gurus. However, Dzongsar Khyentse or the Karmapa, none of them would allow his lama disciples to own their personal career. They can only listen to the guru, running errands and performing pujas, behaving like a home slaves, especially for Dzongsar Khyentse--he grasps his power very tight and strictly since his lineage is small and he needs to rule it carefully for not being shared or diluted away. If any of them dare to cross the line, for example, Dzongsar Khyentse would freeze this guy and forbid his traveling and silence him. This lama can not teach anymore until Dzongsar permits it again. He acts like a tyrant in the old times. So , I wonder about where the silly Lodro Rinchen's actions would lead him to? He tried to conduct cyberbullying to me against Karmapa's sex scandal to make himself a celebrity in Taiwan. He probably will be outcast in the inner circle of the Karmapa. That's one possibility of his future. Or, he will be praised and promoted because he attacked me, the whistleblower of the sex scandal, on behalf of the guru who can not do it himself because of his own noble image as a monk. That's the other possibility. Anyways, in this Tibetan feudal universe, the rule of monarchy of the guru will never change.
所以當「事業」是如此費盡心血經營出來的一生成就,那麼當處於壓迫到上師權力和名聲最關鍵點的時候,對救度眾生的金剛上師而言,絕對沒有什麼「超越二元,解脫證悟」可言了。什麼證悟?可以吃嗎?去你的證悟,那關我什麼事?三昧耶是用來詛咒所謂爆料者(如宗薩的麻吉鄔金督甲對我抹黑又下咒),執行的方法有各種方式,虛偽一點諸如宗薩發聲明偽裝自己與我不認識,否認一切,通令弟子不得與我接觸亦不得聯繫關心。低俗的則是用網路抹黑和假帳號魚目混珠受害者的證詞。[2020年10月更新] 結果原來羅卓仁謙是受到宗薩欽哲和大寶法王的間接指使,才發動這個所謂精神病懶人包的網路霸凌!細節可於台灣高等法院申查。
The lama’s activities are run and invested with so much blood, sweat and tears, therefore, when their scandals go public, the disclosure damage their reputations, power and activities aka his accomplishment all his life, he will attack and defend by all means to protect his interest. Not a Buddhist at all, but a mad rogue. For them, in this circumstances, there is nothing called compassion or "all things are impermanent or emptiness". First, they would use Samaya to curse me (or any women whistle-blower) and let other disciples attack me as a traitor. For example, Ogyen Tobgyal smeared me a psychopath immediately, making up the rumor that I was hospitalized or something! It's so ridiculous. I barely knew this violent cranky man, no where near close-- actually I just met this old thug lama a couple of times in the pujas and even offered him money when I mistook him as a Mahasandi practitioner. He is just another warlord in the Tibetan old times but the scenario now is modern day Taiwan. Smearing the whistle blower to silence the scandal-You really can't teach old dogs new tricks. These Tibetan lamas slander women as crazy nuts just because they rebel and disagree with the men.
(Updated in Oct 2020 ) On 2019 Jan 28, one week after the news published, Dzongsar only dare issue a declaration in Tibetan only (later translated in Chinese) to clarify the whole scandal, in which he claimed that he didn't really know me and I was not his staff of his foundation, etc. This denial made me look down upon him even more. He also commanded his disciples keep silence about me, not contacting me, in case they showed any clues that what I have told about my experiences was true and I am a real person existing. Yet in private he gave Stephaine Lai some edited wechat messaage to smear me as a psychopath. She passed it to Lodro Rinchen and motivated him to cyberbully me. That's Dzognsar Khyentse's true actions and dealing regarding the scandal; he directed the whole cyberbullying. He will absolutely get his karma from his actions of lying and attacking. Besides, there were some students from Southeast Asia trying to support me as well as Dzongsar Khyentse's ex girlfiend from LA at the difficult time when I went public my tragdey, yet they all were stopped by Dzongsar Khyentse; he provided fake messages to them to slander me again. I couldn't despise more him after this! What a guru! Shame on him!
又或者宗薩欽哲最近寫在自傳裡控訴總管捲走財物離開欽哲活佛府(順便洗白他自己跟索甲是哥倆好的淵源,兼落井下石,因為此總管是索甲近親);低級粗暴的話,就像噶瑪巴差使台灣官方比丘僧尼群起扯謊霸凌、攻擊臉書,關閉我的帳號卻容許上一大堆假帳號五毛網軍天天像韓粉一樣抹黑作假。所有關於佛法根本的誓言和戒律,菩提心的大願,在上師的名聲和醜聞即將被掀開之際,根本不值一顧!因為政權存亡和事業利益,比什麼菩提心證悟都重要!
這就是宗薩欽哲和大寶法王的真實面貌。

Recently, Dzongsar khyentse updated an article on his online memoir website, in which he narrated that the story about the old manager of Khyentse Labrang. Reading it, I thought it is necessary to expose more about Dzongsar Khyentse’s idea, intentions and tricks to offer more insights for the public to judge what they read and see about him. In that episode, the old Khyentse manager was depicted as a proditor and a traitor since he was a relative of Sogyal’s who was infamous about his abuse scandal not long ago in the West these past years, so therefore this old manager was easily and definitely associated as a bad guy by the readers as well; that’s the easy trick he played and planted to write history about this guy.
For his true intention, Dzongsar Khyentse was using the storytelling to record and subscribe this old Tibetan as a thief in his biography as his revenge and punishment even it has been 30 years now, no matter how much this guy has dedicated to the Khyentse business and Labrang. Now in his version, young Dzongsar Khyenste was being pillaged and stolen by this guy during the chaos when the previous Khyentse died. Yet to me, it’s apparent that he was whitewashing his Khyentse horrible problems at the labrang at that time and preventing potential scandals to be exposed so he used his position to tell his "authentic and orthodox" version of Khyentse history. I will talk about some scandal or tragedy happened at that time.
Narrative and perception management are the building blocks of the ruling of the Tibetan lamas. Dzongsar Khyentse masters these skills and creates his own grand narratives for next generations through this biography project. It’s subtle and almost invisible without harsh traces to be doubted. BTW, the web series are the shooting script of his autobiography movie to come. He will be conveniently view as a great master through the influence of film or TV in next generations.
